May 28-31, 2020, Beaufort, SC
May 28-31, 2020, Beaufort, SC
Tara and Martha are mountain and ocean lovers, adventure seekers, seasoned guides, accomplished dancers dedicated to lifelong ease of movement, fellow Aquarians and spiritual pilgrims who love to share their lifelong quests, insights and learnings in order for others to find their joy and power.
A feast for the soul filled with good company, good food, enriching conversation, and the perfect amount of movement and rest.
Carefully and lovingly designed for the woman who is in need of a break, who is looking for a strong, gentle nudge to pursue her personal dreams, or who is a pilgrim on a spiritual journey.
Held in beautiful places amidst brilliant colors, surrounded by your favorite smells, be they coastal sage, low country rivers and oceans, or sweet mountain woodlands embraced by welcome breezes and warm, roaring fires.
A safe and sacred time to explore doubts, release the Old with gratitude, invite and receive the New with grace and ease, and emerge fully embodying joy, and empowered to return to daily life rejuvenated and inspired.
Infused with Martha and Tara’s twinkling nature, sense of playfulness, love of laughter and deep belief in mystery and magic.
Before we begin our day, we honor the Great Silence from the night before. We each find a contemplative spot with our journals, imaginings, and morning tea or coffee.
We practice a morning ritual of QiGong Shibashi and welcome the sun as it rises over the hills that look out at the blue Pacific.
9:00-10:00 Breakfast accompanied by thought provoking questions and inspiring and enlightening conversation that will peak your curiosity and ignite a spark of learning throughout the day and weekend.
2:00 -5:30 Free time ~ on your own... exploration of the woods and the hidden treasures within these sacred places and the sacred space of your journal ... or rest.
10:30 - 12:30 Activity
1:00-2:00 Lunch provides a great opportunity for sharing insights from the morning’s conversation and lots of laughter.*
5:30-6:30 Gentle yoga outside, weather permitting, stretching our bodies, restoring ourselves to our breath, and winding down our energy from the day.
7:00-8:30 Dinner and reflections on the day.
8:30 - 9:30 Good stories, laughter, nurturing discussions and healing meditations.
9:30 p.m. - 9:00 a.m. The Great Silence: Give yourself the gift of a respite from outer conversation and return to the well within.
And Your Investment in You
“Depending on where an individual is in their life — whether they just need to take a break, or they needed a strong, gentle nudge to pursue personal dreams, or like me, a seeker on a pilgrimage — I strongly believe what you and Tara have created and brought personally to the moment is what The Sacred Nature Retreat is all about.”
Anne“We noiselessly went about getting our morning tea and coffee in this beautiful place. Silently sharing the interior space of the warm house with 9 other beings – breath and the beginning of NEW came easily.”
