May 28-31, 2020, Beaufort, SC

In Beaufort, we will unwind from the numbing, busy rhythms of our modern lives, and intentionally synchronize ourselves to the tidal rhythms of the natural landscape.

What to Expect

Not only will we teach you to remember that we, too, naturally ebb and rise in our daily lives, but we will also teach you how to live in sync with these recurrent patterns of coming and going in a sustainable, life-giving, and empowering way when you return home.

The Setting

In Spring, the luxurious, award-winning Anchorage 1770 Inn, in Beaufort, SC. will once again be our hide away. This 18th century Federalist mansion on the Beaufort River, half way between Charleston and Savannah, gives us access to beautiful beaches, easy bike trails through ancient Spanish Moss draped oaks, warm waters to explore in kayaks, and gentle, salt air breezes to center and calm our minds, bodies, and souls amidst the low country’s magical marshes and backwaters.

This is the right retreat for you if:

—Pulled in too many directions
—Worn down by the speed you try to maintain
—If you are wracking your brain and heart with the thought, “there must be a better way to go about my days.”

  • 2:00 -5:30 Free time ~ on your own... exploration of the woods and the hidden treasures within these sacred places and the sacred space of your journal ... or rest.

  • 10:30 - 12:30 Activity

  • 1:00-2:00 Lunch provides a great opportunity for sharing insights from the morning’s conversation and lots of laughter.*

  • 5:30-6:30 Gentle yoga outside, weather permitting, stretching our bodies, restoring ourselves to our breath, and winding down our energy from the day.

  • 7:00-8:30 Dinner and reflections on the day.

  • 8:30 - 9:30 Good stories, laughter, nurturing discussions and healing meditations.

  • 9:30 p.m. - 9:00 a.m. The Great Silence: Give yourself the gift of a respite from outer conversation and return to the well within.
